I apologize for those that I didn’t get to see over the holiday. I was a bit ill and was unable to attend most things I was invited to. Pansy you know I’ll make it up to you for missing out on your group event. I’ll figure something out once I’m feeling a bit up to health again.
Gwen I’m not so brilliant for company getting over this cold but if you’d like to spend a quiet afternoon somewhere you’re always welcome to come and find me here the flat they provided for me and we can spend some quality time together. I’d rather enjoy seeing you.
My gifts will be late but I’ll get them out by tomorrow for the lot of you. Until then we should all plan a New Years like Gwen suggested. Get us all in a more positive spirit for the coming year. Maybe even figure out a way home and out of this rubbish place.

So does anyone know anything about this ‘Adrian Pucey’ of the new world we’re residing in? I walked past him several times today in this positively small world around me, and I can’t seem to fathom the differences between us can be all that great. Was he lucky enough to stay pro instead of getting grounded permanently?
Pansy if we ever get home you tell those blokes from me they better practice more, yeah? I saw a few of their attempts at practice and almost hopped on a broom myself to show them how it’s done. I shouldn’t miss the idea of flying so much. Blasted Bludgers are always the ruin of a good player. Too bad I can’t go back or I might hop on one and try.
It’s going to be odd spending the holiday without my parents. We’re usually all together for the celebration before I end up in some kind of mess over someone doing something stupid.
You sure you lot can’t actually use us who are properly trained to do something useful? I didn’t go from pro quidditch to squad leader to do absolutely nothing after all. Should have stayed home from that blasted dinner instead of being that bird's date since I couldn't tell you her name to save my life

If only I’d remembered my paperwork instead of leaving it on my desk. At least then I wouldn’t have to sit here attempting to find something to do with myself. I suppose I could pretend to look fondly back on my time with the Quidditch team. But I can’t help but think I made the right choice retiring. That is what now leaves me without my latest work and while I realize here it makes little never mind, it was three days worth of work that I need completed. So if you lot could somehow spell it into this place I’d appreciate it. The ministry doesn’t stop simply because we’re not there after all.

I have been thinking back on that entire event this evening. I was just walking trying to do something with myself when I came upon a window I stopped to look in. I heard a voice I thought it to be someone speaking to me, but as I turned I realized that this woman yelled for ‘Adrian Pucey’ and I turned to see another bloke heading into a building wave at her… it was him to whom she was speaking…
In all my training I haven’t really come across..
I need a drink.
